David Keith (born October 18, 1973) is an American drummer, composer, and producer living in New Haven, Connecticut. He currently plays with Rainbow (rock band), Blackmore's Night and Mission Zero.
== Biography ==
David Keith was born in Hartford, CT. He began playing drums at the age of four, and went on to play with the Concert Jazz Band at William H. Hall High School in West Hartford, CT. In 1996 he joined the indie rock band Mighty Purple and toured with them throughout the United States. In 2000 he joined the swing and rhythm & blues band (Eight to the Bar ), touring the U.S. and Europe until 2006. In 2010 he created Mission Zero with his sister Chenot Keith (born Megan Keith) and continues to write, record and perform with Mission Zero. In 2012 he joined Blackmore's Night, led by guitarist Ritchie Blackmore (Deep Purple; Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow).
